The Global Rare Disease Network Research Institute collects and conducts research on related data to deliver global rare disease information
at home and abroad more easily, accurately, and quickly.

It systematically activates research activities on rare diseases,
accumulates research results on neuromuscular diseases, brain diseases,
and intractable pain related to rare diseases, and for the purpose of broad treatment technology
in research performance, we are striving for practical application research and results
that incorporate Korean medical knowledge.

In addition, Iksan City is planning to establish an international cooperation system
for rare incurable diseases such as research on rare diseases, establish exchange
and cooperation networks with domestic and foreign medical institutions,
and establish a specialized center for rare incurable patients.
